I’ve been painting since I was a child.
Since I’m been working as an artist both on ful time and half time during my whole life, I have been able to try many different materials and styles to express myself in.
I have the privilege of working at a big culture school (Örebro School of Culture) where I have a part-time job as an Art teacher.
This fits me perfectly as I both get inspiration from my students, and get invaluable contacts and assignments in addition to my usual service. Among other things, I get assignments to work with ”School of Creation”, which is a part of the Swedish Cultural Council.
I absolutely love to paint large oil paintings with motives inspired by the life around me. Humans and animals are two of my most important motives.
I have been a cat person since childhood, and the first thing I did when I moved away from home was to get two cats. Since then, different cats have replaced each other when the age have taken their lives from them.
Facial expressions, events, music (especially jazz) and of course flowers and nature, are my source of inspiration.
The paintings may be played back and forth, layer by layer. This also get a depth in the paintings. During my time as an artist I have been able to paint many paintings
Upcoming exhibition in september in Örebro castle’s northwest tower.
