I am art photographer, video-artist, lecturer and performer. I studied at Fine Art Schools of Prague, Berlin, Athens and Stockholm.
My work usually aims at aesthetic and conceptual integration. My themes mainly develop in two fundamental areas. One investigative, moving towards abstraction and trying to reveal the magic of the non-image in photography, and one purely emotional, in which I usually try to show and stress the importance of everyday trivia.
After exploring many avenues of poetic cinematic narration, I have developed a visual "accompaniment" that corresponds to music.
From 1995-2007 I taught visual communication and applied Art Photography at the University of Western Attica in Athens, at the Fine Art School of Ioannina and at the Photography Team of the cultural Center of Peania.
After 2007 I moved to Sweden where I founded the indepented digital film production company Anikon.
I show my works in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums since 1986.
