Natalia Joanna Bieganska

Artist

About me

Natalia Joanna Bieganska is an international contemporary artist. She has been creating and refining her art skills since a very young age and later on fine-tuning during art classes and Academy of Fine Arts graduate studies. Natalia has lived in and traveled to over 20 countries immersing herself in variety of cultures. This abundant experience has shaped Natalia’s art competency as well as opened vast spheres of influence. Not only has she been inspired by the broad differences in geographies and people, but also by the multitude of colours and patterns each country had to offer. Natalia views art as a common language that is universal in nature and just like a mother’s homemade meal can bring so much joy to any person; her art generates a real sense of inspiration and comfort. Natalia feels lucky to live in the times when art could easily travel by being sent from a small post office and reach one’s heart upon artwork’s arrival. This limitless merge of feelings and emotions is simply everything.

Inspiration:

As a person who has lived eternal journey for over eight years, I became addicted to traveling. I feel great as a vagabond, and it is in these moments that I create the best. You probably know the saying “Home is where love is”?  Mine is ‘studio is where the table is’. I often get inspiration from travels, nature and the books I read. However, the strongest and at the same time the least tangible creative stimulus are my memories. This very specific way of life that I led as a model has had a huge impact on the art I create now. I have lived in over 20 countries and as a result my memories hide thousands of signs, patterns, landscapes, people and experiences that shaped me as a young woman and artist.
