I was born in Sweden and grew up in Switzerland, where I studied at the art academies in Zürich and Basel.
Since childhood, I have had a passionate interest for human rights, which can be discovered in many of my works. During my studies in Basel I founded the international artist group “Artumult” with members from India, Iran, Japan, Nigeria, Colombia, Bolivia, Switzerland and Sweden, to discuss cultural identities through art.
As an artist, I want to remain free in my expression and in the materials I work with. Writing, drawing, painting, sculpting, and particularly installation art, depending on what I need to communicate. I am very fond of interdisciplinary collaborations, which can result in photography, experimental film and sound, music and even performance/happenings.
Mixed materials and techniques
Life itself, in which death plays an essential part. Also philosophy, mythology and dreams.
On the other hand society, human rights and political anger, but also satire.
