About me

Katrina Larida is an artist from the Philippines. She began an informal training as a portrait artist at 16. In 2016, she got into Parsons School of Design in New York. While at Parsons, her artistic process skills and design were refined. She also fell in love with Color Theory and adapted what she learnt into her art. The artists who influenced her recent works are Georges Seurat, Josef Albers and Donald Judd. She was also influenced by the street art installations in New York.

In 2019, Katrina exhibited her work at Galleri Bellman together with the FAAS group which was about awareness on the negative impact of plastics to our planet & environment. Katrina’s art expresses her passion for sustainability and love of nature, uses symbolism in her art & executes a calculated technique.
