Anna Bergman left Sweden at 16 and took the boat to London to work as an au pair. She learnt the language quickly.
Shortly after she married Englishman Peter Brown and had her son Micky.
When Micky started school, Anna began her modelling career that took her on many assignments promoting Dulux, Kellogg’s, Ford cars, Heinz, book covers, calendars and much more. This led to film and TV commercials. Anna’s TV role in the hit tv comedy Mind your Language where she portrayed Ingrid Svensson was sold to 26 countries. Many films followed including Fanny and Alexandra directed by her father Ingmar.
Anna was seldom out of the press reporting on her work and colourful life. She has been married twice and engaged six times. With her second husband Douglas Allen Anna said she felt she finally found a warm, safe, and loving place to be.
Anna has written two books: Inte Pappas Flicka and CROOKS.
